William G. Carpenter, age 53, of Poughkeepsie, died December 30, 2015 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital of Poughkeepsie, NY. William was born January 14, 1963 in Yonkers, NY. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Lorraine (Lowe) Carpenter. He was employed by Wheelabrator in Poughkeepsie as a Mechanic . William loved to work on and fix cars, he enjoyed reading History and fishing with his son. William was past member of the Sons of the American Legion. He is survived by his Fiancé Gina M. Taddeo of Poughkeepsie, NY. son: William Carpenter Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister and brother in-law Mildred and Joe Delgado of Yonkers, NY, sister and brother in-law Cathy and Bob Walker of Yonkers, NY, brother: Robert Carpenter of Yonkers, NY and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
