Obituary of Marion Seils

Marion J. Seils, 84, of Poughkeepsie, NY went to be with our heavenly Father on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Bronx, NY on December 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Madeline Elliott D'Luhosch. Marion was a 1949 graduate of Arlington High School. She had been a local resident for most of her life and also was a resident of Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Marion was a very compassionate person, always known for her smile and sense of humor. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and she loved animals. She was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Lagrangeville. Marion married Robert Seils Sr. on April 21, 2002 in Poughkeepsie and he survives her at home. In addition to her husband, Marion is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Charlanne Edmonds Osoba and Vincent Osoba of St. Augustine, FL, daughter Susan Edmonds-Leggiere and her partner Charles Klesse of Poughkeepsie, NY and Nancy Edmonds Hedman and Craig Hedman of Tallahassee, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Derek Hedman, Laurel Leggiere, Kelsey Hedman and Melissa Hedman. Additionally, she is survived by her stepchildren; Kim Ward, Robert Seils, Jr., William Seils and Laura Corotlo, as well as several step-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild. Marion is also survived by her identical twin sister, Joan Diesing and husband Roger of Wilmington, NC and her sister Barbara Reed and her husband John of Dunedin, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
