Obituary of Walter Sedore

Walter F. Sedore, Jr., age 80, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at The Pines At Poughkeepsie of Poughkeepsie, NY. Walter was born June 14, 1935 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Walter F. and the late Catherine (Davis) Sedore Sr.. He married Faith M. Holt on November 1, 1963 at St. Mary's Church Wappingers Falls, NY. He served in the Navy during the the Korean war. He was employed by NYS Transportation as a Supervisor. Walter was a Life Member of the Arlington engine Company # 1, Pirate Canoe Club and the Hudson Valley Sportsmen Association. Lifelong area resident. Loved to Hunt, Fish and Bowl. Walter was also a Member of the Fire Police Association He is survived by his wife: Faith M.(Holt) Sedore and one daughter: Cathy A. Sedore of Poughkeepsie, NY; ; he also has one Grandson, Raymund W. Sedore of Poughkeepsie, NY; and several Nieces and Nephews he was Predeceased by his Daughter, Shawn E. Sedore, Sister, Mary Jane Bianco, Sister, Sandra Joy Brooker.
