Obituary of Jeremiah Duquette

Jermiah (Jerry) Duquette 80 passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home after battling cancer. Born in Gonic N.H. on May 5 1935 he was the son to the late Roxanna O David Duquette and Wilfred Duquette. Jerry worked for IBM for 36 years and retired in 1992. He served in the Air Force and worked part time jobs as a bookkeeper for Fox Hill Family Partnership and the Public Library after retirement. He was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed golfing with his friends at College Hill. He spent many hours doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles. He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 60 years, Jacqueline L. Duquette, son, Jeffrey M. Duquette of Poughkeepsie, NY, son, Christopher J. Duquette and partner Storm Bryant of New York City. Daughter Sheryl M. Duquette and spouse Shari Jo Reich of Williamsville, NY. Jerry has four beautiful grandchildren: Jonathan Duquette and Brittney Duquette of California, Cydele Duquette and Lillian Duquette of Williamsville, NY. Jerry has brother Terrance and Wife Effie of Scottsdale, Arizona. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 2-4pm with services immediately after (4pm) at the Timothy p. Doyle F.H. Inc 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
