Obituary of Lorraine Bogart

Lorraine A. Bogart, age 92, of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Lutheran Care Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Lorraine was born July 3, 1923 in Chicago, ILL. She is the daughter of the late Elmer and the late Marie (Hermann) Huebner. She married Carl E. Bogart Sr. He predeceased her August 7, 1987. Lorraine was a past volunteer for the American Red Cross, she loved to knit, do ceramics and enjoyed playing her Piano. Lorraine also loved being with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son inlaw: Deborah and James Weber of Calabash, NC, daughter : Patricia Ford of Havre DeGrace, MD, son and daughter inlaw: Carl and Sheila E. Bogart Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY, son: Dennis Bogart of Centerville, PA, son: Michael Bogart of Poughkeepsie, NY, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Lorraine was also predeceased by her Brother, Ronald Huebner. The funeral will be held 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, 342 South Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Entombment will follow at the Community Mausoleum.
