Obituary of Allan Williams

Allan F. Williams, age 74, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at home in Poughkeepsie. Allan was born July 19, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Dean A. and the late Mary E. (Shaw) Williams. He retired from Dutchess County Highway Department where he worked in the Payroll Department. Allan loved to read, collect books and watch TV He is survived by his brother and sister in-law Terry and Ann Marie Williams of Hyde Park and his two nieces Shauna DeCiutiis of Poughkeepsie and Paula Williams of Hyde Park. Allan was also predeceased by his brother Timothy Williams who died in September of 2013. Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 15 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
