Obituary of Sonja Rider

Sonja Faye Rider, age 77, of Hurley, New York died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Northern Dutchess Hospital Rhinebeck , NY. Sonja was born September 10, 1938 in Central City, PA . She is the daughter of the late John and the late Eva (Bszahunich) Viszick. Sonja loved to shop, travel and dance. The family said Mom had a great since of humor. She is survived by her daughter: Lisa M. Rider and her companion Steve Carpino of Saugerties, NY and her two sons: Daren J. Rider of Hurley, NY and Todd Rider and his wife Brandi Rider of Hyde Park, NY, her grandchildren, Nathan J Rider, Alana M. And Brice M. Rider, her great grandson, Logan A. Rider and several nieces and nephews. Sonja was also predeceased by her many brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be Friday, April 15, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
