Obituary of Anne Conrad

Anne D. Conrad, age 88, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at The Pines of Poughkeepsie. Anne was born July 23, 1927 in Lancaster, PA. She is the daughter of the late Arthur Oliver and the late Lauria (Mondeau) DuPay. She married Frederick L. Conrad on July 28, 1946 at St. John's Roman Catholic Church in East Bridge Water MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick L. Conrad on June 10, 2011. She retired in 1992 from Ronald Goldsand as a Real Property Title Examiner. She was a local resident most of her life. Anne was a member of the Dutchess County Historical Society and a past board member of the Poughkeepsie Day Nursery. Anne was also a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Anne is survived by her daughter Jeanne Glick and her husband Edward of Poughkeepsie, her son Paul Conrad and his wife Mary of Poughkeepsie, three grandchildren Benjamin Turcan of Buffalo, Brandon Conrad of Poughkeepsie, Lyndsey Fusaro-Conrad of Poughkeepsie and two great grandchildren Meda Turcan and Alex Turcan. Anne was also predeceased by her brothers Ernest, Roy, Aurthur Nelson, and Donald Dupuy and her sister Adeline Oakley. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie New York. The family would like to thank the sixth floor staff at the Pines of Poughkeepsie for the great care given to Anne. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy P.
