Gary's service is about to begin and our hearts are there with you. We have not seen you in years, but we fondly remember Gary and Izzy and the boys through sports teams, as colleagues in the psychology and social work community and as friends laughing and listening to Gary's songs. To Issy, Christopher and Dan, and to all of us who knew and loved Gary - the sorrow runs deep at his loss. He was a loyal and supportive friend, always had a ready smile and listening ear for all. Gary was one of the kindest, smartest and most sincere people I have ever known. In the five years that I have developed a strong friendship with Gary, I found him to be a generous man who put others ahead of himself. He was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. There are no words to express our sincere sadness of the passing of Gary. He was truly someone I looked up to all my life. I remember as a kid I always thought this guy is so worldly, so adventurous, so smart, so kind and so loving. He was Definitely an inspiration. I remember him hitch hiking across America thinking how COOL he was. When Paul passed away, he came out to take care of mom, and that just meant so much to her. She loved him dearly. And then Mom passed away, and he came out, had dinner with all of us, cried with all of us and just loved us. I know we rarely saw each other. But through the miles our spirits were always entwined. I will miss him dearly. Prayers of strength and courage for Issy an the Boy's. You will always hold him in your heart as I will too. Love you... Cousin Janice and Rudy
