Obituary of Issa Kawaksheh

Issa Kawaksheh, age 67, of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Issa was born May 1, 1949 in Jordan, . He is the son of the late Ibrahim and the late Mary (Sayegh) Kawaksheh. He married Haya Nimri on January 14, 1972 in Jordan. He was employed by Westchester County for the B Lines System. He is survived by his wife: Haya (Nimri) Kawaksheh , daughter and son in-law: MaryAnn and Naseem Bisharat of Alabama and two sons and daughter in-laws: Ibrahim and Denise Kawaksheh of Pleasant Valley, NY and Mike and Safa Kawaksheh of Poughkeepsie, NY, three sisters: Wedad Kawaksheh, Suad Azeizat and Jamila Tashman and grandchildren Sara, Selena, Jordan and Elias, Eyon. Issa was also predeceased by his Brother, Jerry Kawaksheh. Calling hours will be Wednesday June 15 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church, Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
