Hey guys, I just heard about Aunt Helen passing yesterday from Bob. She was a great lady. Lots of energy and always made you think. It was fun knowing her and you gals also. We are praying for you. I agree with Nancy's post. I bet she and my dad and many others are teaching the saints in Heaven the Polka. Would love to catch up with everyone one day. God Bless you. Steve

From the first time I met my Aunt Helen, just home from overseas, I thought she was "movie-star beautiful" with her long-blonde hair and the sweetest voice I had ever heard. And she was my aunt. I was about ten at the time. After that, I so looked forward to her returns to Church St. Poughkeepsie, NY and later to Hopewell Junction. As I got older, I found her to be generous, open and so approachable, especially when George was about to go overseas. I will always keep that kindness in my heart. May she enjoy her reward in heaven now with everlasting peace. My sincere condolences to all my cousins, especially the five very special girls. My love to all.
Sincerely,
Judy Menendez

I just heard Monday night about Aunt Helen's passing. She was a great person and loved her as our aunt. She will be missed. So sorry we can't be there. The last sibling in the old Czaplinski family. Maybe Aunt Helen and Aunt Flo are doing the polka in heaven. Love to all our cousins.

We are so saddened to hear of Helen's passing. She was a beautiful lady, full of smiles, happy times and lots of laughter. We will always treasure the times she visited us in Seattle and will remember her fondly...especially Jenna and Matthew who viewed her as a surrogate grandma. Thank you for sharing her with us. May you be comforted by special memories and know others are thinking of you all at this most difficult time. With deepest sympathy, Chris, Maryann, Jenna and Matthew Bellavia
