Obituary of Kenneth Lillis

Kenneth Lillis, age 63, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, July 25, 2016 in Clearwater Florida. Kenny was born March 17, 1953 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Edward P. and the late Barbara Ann (Bradley) Lillis Sr.. He married Darlene North she survives at home. Kenny served in the United States Army from 1972 until 1974. He retired from City Of Poughkeepsie where he was employed as a Fire Fighter retiring in 1995. Kenny was a local resident all his life. He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, a member of the Irish Club in Poughkeepsie and he loved to travel. He is survived by his wife: Darlene North of Poughkeepsie, his sister Mary Ann Lillis and her husband Dale Smith of Poughkeepsie, sister in-law Vera Lillis of Poughkeepsie, brother in-law Justin North and his wife Jennifer of Wappingers, cousins Joan Weston of Pleasant Valley, Mark Lillis of Poughkeepsie and several Nieces and Nephews. Kenny was predeceased by his two brothers Edward Lillis and William Lillis. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 2pm to 5pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
