Obituary of Ronald Morgan
Ronald "Ron" A. Morgan, 44 of Clinton Corners, NY passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital, Town of Poughkeepsie, NY. Ron was born on July 6, 1972 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Leonard Morgan and Laura Haynes Isett. He married his beloved wife Kristine Ibrahim on June 10, 2000 in Cold Spring, NY who survives at home. In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his daughter Maryn Morgan, Clinton Corners, mother Laura Isett, Florida, Grandfather Louie "Ted" Haynes, Florida, step-brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving in laws.
In his youth, Ron lived in the Catskills with his father, where he learned his love and expertise for nature. He was a true outdoorsman, who shared his enthusiasm for both hunting and fishing with all. Ron was also a local and national BMX racer who earned the name "Hot Shoe".
A local resident most of his life, Ron attended Poughkeepsie High School and was an Electrician for Local IBEW 1249. Although an electrician, Ron wore many hats and was skilled in many fields. Ron was an avid skier and loved four wheeling and snowmobiling with his friends. He and his daughter, Maryn, enjoyed making their own homemade Morgan's Maple Syrup.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral
Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm
with a service at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Burial is private and at the
convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, a college trust fund has been set up for his daughter Maryn, and donations can be made in her name and sent to the family.
