Obituary of Louis DeStefano

Louis DeStefano, age 59, of Fishkill, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at home in Fishkill. Louis was born December 18, 1956 in Bronx. He is the son of the late Anthony and Carmelina (Sorice) DeStefano. He served in the Marine Corps. He was a self-employed as a builder, he owned DeStefano Custom Homes. Louis was a member of Rip Van Winkle Riders and was their Chaplin, He was a Mason in the Wappingers Lodge. Dutchess County Pistol Association, Past member of the East Fishkill Rotary Club. He loved his Motorcycle being out and riding the open road. He like to go shooting and he also enjoyed taking his brother to the Aerodrome and go flying. He also enjoyed have Ice after going out for a ride on his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife Diana Rusnock of Fishkill, his mother Carmelina DeStefano of Poughkeepsie and brother Robert DeStefano of Germantown, and his Stepdaughter, Doreen Eckert of Manhattan, NY. Calling hours will be Monday, August 29, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. With a service at 7:30pm.
