Obituary of Joseph Bocchino

Joseph N. Bocchino Jr. , 68, of Lady Lake, FL passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 2, 2016. He was born in Poughkeepsie,NY on October 7, 1947 to the late Joseph and Betty Bocchino. He is survived by his wife Teri Bocchino, of Lady Lake, FL ; 3 sons, Joseph Bocchino 3rd of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jason Bocchino of Hampstead, NC and David Huber of North Merrick, NY ; 2 Daughters, Jennifer Gonzalez and Jaqcueline Bocchino of Poughkeepsie, NY ; 3 step-daughters, Denisse Waters of Columbia MD, Carla Huber of Lady Lake, FL, and Erika Wenzel of Lady Lake, FL.He is also survived by 3 brothers, Terry Bocchino of GA, Victor Bocchino of DE, Christopher Bocchino of CA ; 5 sisters, Lynne Keating of FL, Kathleen Schnorr, Lorainne Mann, and Betty-Jo Bocchino of NY, and Joan Pfeifer of NJ. He was predeceased by one brother, Anthony Bocchino. He was a grandfather of 23 and great-grandfather of 1. Joe was an avid sports fan, spending much time bowling, playing baseball, and playing his Fantasy League Sports. He was a little league coach in the city of Poughkeepsie for many years, and was a die hard Yankee fan. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served in Korea.
