Obituary of Michael Jessup

Michael R. Jessup, age 52, of Lagrange, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at home in Poughkeepsie surrounded by his family. Michael was born July 10, 1964 in Bryan, TX. He is the son of the late Richard W. and the late Felipa (Valdez) Jessup Gallo. He married Patricia A. Wallace on June 1, 1996 at the United Methodist Church in LaGrange, New York. He was employed by Marco Manufacturing Poughkeepsie, New York as a Machine Operator. Michael was a member of the Lagrange Historical Society. He was an Avid Beatles Fan, He had a big love for Music and was a lifelong Musician. Michael was also a Certified EMT since 1991 He is survived by his wife: Patricia A. (Wallace) Jessup of Lagrange ; his sister: Theresa Detwiler-Jessup of Michigan; his step daughter, Jamie Landsman and her husband Ian of Poughkeepsie, NY; his step daughter, Tiffany Jones and her husband Ryshadd of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren, Tyler, Max, Mia Landsman, Layla, and Desmond Jones and his niece, Bethany Detwiler. Michael was also predeceased by his Stepfather, Joseph Gallo. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice 374 Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.
