Obituary of Constance Blaney

Constance J. Blaney, age 78, of Lagrange, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at home in Poughkeepsie. Constance was born June 29, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Bruno and the late Nancy (Bartholomeo) Costantino. She married Cahill Blaney on April 21, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York. She was predeceased by her husband, Cahill Blaney. Constance was a member of American Legion Post 1302 Ladies Auxillary. She loved gardening, loved to travel, hike, read, music, dancing, go camping with family, loved the ocean and going on cruises, but most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and family. She is survived bydaughter, Maria O'Keeffe and her husband Keith Dombrowski of Poughkeepsie, NY, her son, James T. O'Keeffe and his wife Angel Waterville, ME, her daughter Antoinette I. Kaus and her husband Daniel of Highland, NY, her five grandchildren James R. O'Keeffe, Sullivan S. O'Keeffe, Aidan CJ O'Keeffe, Alanna M. O'Keeffe and Kayla I. Kaus. Constance is also survived by her sister Grace Miedzwiecki of Montauk, LI and her niece, Jeanine Murphy of Montauk, LI. Constance was predeceased by her children's father John F. O'Keeffe Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at St. Martin DePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
