Daniel Batista was a gentlemen of the highest regard and if more people were as open & kind the world would be a much better place. For the last six years he lived at St. Simeon and every day he was there made it an even better day. On behalf of the St. Simeon community, we send our thoughts and prayers to his daughters, Patricia & Rochelle, and all his family and we are thankful we knew him. Godspeed.

I always admired Dan for his gentle ways, love for his family, life and his kind words of wisdom. He inspired me to be who I am today. I am among the lucky people to have had special conversations with Dan. My family was blessed to literally have had the Battista family living under the same roof of our home for many, many years. I feel we were more than friends that Dan and Ethel were like family. We will miss Dan! I know he will rest peacfully with his beloved wife Ethel. Our sincerest condolences!
