Obituary of Robert W. Grimm

Robert W. Grimm, age 57, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at home in Hyde Park. Robert was born October 22, 1959 in Tacoma, WA. He is the son of Robert Grimm and the late Anita Grace . He married Alyssha Matthews on June 7, 2015 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy and a meticulous well liked Painter. He was also a friend of Bill's and loved his Camaro almost as much as his wife. Also known as "Slim" around the VA campus, he made a point of greeting people by name and treating others with kindness and respect. He is survived by a large loving family including his wife, Alyssha Matthews Grimm, his children, David Wall and his wife Amber, Jennifer Wall, Nicholas Grimm, Jeremy Grimm and Joshua Grimm. His step daughters, Amanda Matthews, Alannah Overton, Arianna Overton, Amber Jasmine, Isabella Jasmine, Cassandra Jasmine, his two granddaughters Nichole Wall and Kennedy Wall and a great granddaughter Mackenzie Wall. Also by his brother Eddie who he was so grateful for, Joyce, his loving aunt and many other cousins and relatives. He will be remembered as an affectionate, supportive man who only knew how to love 'with his whole heart'.
