Obituary of Jane Patricia Lukacs

Jane Patricia Lukacs, age 84, of Lagrange, New York died Friday, November 25, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Jane was born June 4, 1932 in Quaker Hill, NY. She is the daughter of the late Everett and the late Julia (Pinte) Lee. She married Steve G. Lukacs on June 12, 1952 in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was predeceased by her husband, Steve in February of 2002. She was employed by Macy's in Poughkeepsie, NY as a Sales Clerk. Jane was a local resident all of her life. She was a graduate of Wappingers Schools, a member of St. Martin dePorres Church and a member of the Millbrook Seniors. She is survived by her son and daughter In-law, George and Billie Kaye Lukacs of Poughkeepsie, NY., her six grandchildren James Henry Lukacs, Ashley Elizabeth Lukacs, Alicia Lukacs, Christopher Lukacs, Brianna Lukacs and Matthew Lukacs, three great grandchildren Jason Pampinella, Jacob Johnson and Jessa Johnson. Jane was one of sixteen children and survived by seven of her brothers and sisters. Jane was predeceased by her Son, Steven Edward Lukacs in 2014 and also predeceased by 8 of her brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Martin dePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY.
