Obituary of Frank Robert White

Frank Robert White, Jr., age 79, of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at The Pines At Poughkeepsie. Frank was born September 21, 1937 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Frank Robert and the late Dorothy (Vetter) White Sr.. He married Beverly May Soules on August 23, 1959 at St. Mary's Church Poughkeepsie, NY. He served in the Army Reserves. Frank was employed by IBM Poughkeepsie as a Security Officer. Frank was a member of IBM Quarter Century Club, Queen City CBer's and the Horse Club. Frank was local resident all his life. Frank loved to play horse shoes, enjoyed making trailers and also enjoyed installing CBs and stereos in cars He is survived by his wife: Beverly May (Soules) White of Poughkeepsie , his four daughters: Pamela Jean Porter and her husband Michael of Poughkeepsie, NY, Wendy Marie Bish and her husband Randall of Punxsutawney, PA, Kelly Marie Murphy and her husband Vincent of Ulster, NY and Patricia Ellen Zimmermann and her long time companion Michael Place of Kerhonkson, NY, her son Steven Michael White and his wife Rochelle of Poughkeepsie, NY; his 12 grandchildren Behn, Bradley, Matthew, Ian, Allan, Jaclyn, Brittney, Sarah, Lindsey, Travis, Taylor and Noah, his 5 great grandchildren Austin, Madison, Adalee, Lyam and Brandon. Frank is also survived by his sister Clara Marquardt and brother Robert. Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A memorial service will be held 7:30 pm during the calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
