Obituary of Jeffrey R. Bell

Jeffrey R. Bell, age 83, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Jeffrey was born March 1, 1933 in Scanton, PA. He is the son of the late Robert Wheeler and the late Winifred (Wildoner) Bell. He married Hope Ellen Vunderink on June 27, 1953 in Clarks Summit PA. He served in the United States Army. He was employed by IBM Poughkeepsie as a Financial Manager retireing in 1993 Jeffrey was a member of IBM Quarter Century Club. He loved to fish and he enjoyed sailing. He is survived by his wife: Hope Ellen (Vunderink) Bell of Poughkeepsie, his brother Gordon Bell of Hanover PA, one niece and two nephews. The funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P.
