Obituary of Frank Aiello

Frank Aiello, Jr., age 72, of Hyde Park, died Friday, December 23, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Frank was born March 5, 1944 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Frank and the late Rose (Berardi) Aiello Sr.. He married Linda J. Lane on September 11, 1966 at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church Poughkeepsie. Frank was the owner of A & P Home Improvement. He was a local resident all his life and was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. Frank was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Lagrangeville and a member of Crum Elbow Rod and Gun Club. Frank’s love for family was the center of his life. He married the love of his life Linda whom he was married to for 50 years. He was an excellent role model for his grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be truly missed. His other love was hunting. He was an excellent marksman. He shot a pope and young class buck and held the Dutchess county record for several years. He passed this tradition on to his grandson, where they hunted together for many years, making a very special bond. He was an entrepreneur and was a master finished carpenter. He was an excellent artist and loved to draw and paint. He can do anything with his hands from drawing on a piece of paper to creating something out of wood. He was truly a talented man. We love you poppy and heaven has certainly gained an angel. He is survived by his wife: Linda J. (Lane) Aiello of Hyde Park, NY., his daughter and son in-law Michelle and Dave Ciferri of Saugerties, NY, his three grandchildren, Jacquelyn Chamberlain and her husband Adam of Hyde Park, NY, Jillian Ciferri of Saugerties, NY, and Anthony Ciferri of Saugerties, NY. Frank was predeceased by his Brother, John Aiello, and Brother, Louis Aiello. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
