Obituary of Yvonne Ruby Seaman

Yvonne Ruby Seaman, age 76, of Lagrange, died Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Wingate At Ulster in Highland , NY. Yvonne was born May 27, 1940 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late Howard and the late Marjorie (Robinson) Soules. She married James V. Seaman. She was predeceased by her husband, James V. Seaman on December 1, 2015. She was employed by Vassar Road Baptist Church Poughkeepsie were she was a Nursery School Teacher. Yvonne loved to do gardening, volunteering at Church and in the Community and she was part of the Hospitality Committee of the Vassar Road Baptist. She is survived by one daughter and son Michele and Steven Zehnacker Sr. of Poughkeepsie, NY and three sons, James V. Seaman of Poughkeepsie, NY, Todd H. Seaman of Poughkeepsie, NY and Scott Seaman and his wife Elena of Wappingers, NY. Yvonne is also survived by her sister Marleen Robinson of the Kingston Area and her three grandchildren Steven Jr of Poughkeepsie, NY; Grandson, Shawn of Swanquarter, NC; Granddaughter, Linda Fusiak of Beacon, NY. A memorial service will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY with officiating. Burial will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie on at . Calling hours will be Saturday, February 4 from 10am to 12pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers or Diabetes.
