Obituary of Melissa A. Zukowski

Melissa A. Zukowski, age 48, of Beacon, died Sunday, January 29, 2017. Melissa was born July 23, 1968 in Beacon, NY. She is the daughter of Joseph J. Lotsko and Sharyn L. (Mayen) Mathis. On June 16, 1990 Melissa married Douglas J. Zukowski in Fishkill, New York. Melissa was employed by Rose And Kiernan Insurance Fishkill, New York as a Client Service Manager. Melissa's children were the love of her life and she loved being and working with horses. She is survived by her husband: Douglas J. Zukowski of Beacon, NY., three daughters: Kayla Zukowski and her boy friend Kyle Cantwell of Delhi, NY, Chelsea Zukowski and her boy friend Ryan Pingitore of Beacon, NY., and Haleigh Zukowski of Beacon, NY. Melissa is also survived by her father Joseph J. Lotsko and his wife Catherine of Poughkeepsie, NY., her mother Sharyn L. Mathis of Hyde Park, NY; her sister: Amanda Wegman and her husband Karl of Hyde Park, NY., her two brothers Joseph J. Lotsko Jr. of San Jose, CA, Erik Mathis and his wife Tiffany of Georgia, granddaughter Lily Cantwell and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, February 3, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 pm. Burial will be private and at the Convenience of the family. I lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to Haleigh Zukowski for her Scholarship fund.
