Obituary of Joanne Johnston

Joanne Johnston, age 74, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at The Pines in Poughkeepsie Joanne was born July 25, 1942 in Alburn, NY. Joanne was a local resident and home maker all of her life. She loved to listen to music, enjoyed playing BINGO and loved to shop. She was married to John DeKoskie he predeceased her on October 28, 2006, she then married John Johnston and he also predeceased her. Joanne is survived by her son John DeKoskie of Staatsburg, NY, daughter Laurie DeKoskie of Poughkeepsie, NY, her grandchildren Jessie Callahan, Heather Callahan, Alisha DeKoskie, Samantha Halstead, Justina DeKoskie, Erica Rubino and Natasha Antona and she is also survived by her two great grandchildren Isaha DeKoskie Rubino and Johnathon Ermo. Calling Hours will be held Friday from 1pm to 2pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. .
