Obituary of Paul Rogers

Paul E. Rogers, 63 of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at home. Paul was born on March 5, 1954 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Russell Rogers and Lillian Wolven Rogers. A local resident all his life, Paul was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and was employed for many years until hi retirement in 2013 as a custodian for the City of Poughkeepsie Scholl District. He was a member of the Fireman's Exempt Club in Poughkeepsie, NY and enjoyed fishing. Paul is survived by his daughter, Pauline Rogers of Poughkeepsie, NY, sister Lillian Shaffer and brother Warren Rogers both of Poughkeepsie, NY as well as grandchildren Jasmin Rogers, Da'mique Sellers, Jemieva Johnson and Derrick Maxwell. He is predeceased by his sister Maureen Wright. A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Exempt Firemen's Association Mansion Street Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
