Obituary of James C. Berryann

James C. Berryann, Jr., age 83, of Pleasant Valley, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. James was born March 5, 1934 in Newburgh, NY. He is the son of the late James C and the late Mildred (Davidson) Berryann Sr.. He married Dorothea F. Phillips on July 28, 1953 at First Congregational Church Poughkeepsie she survives at home. James was a local resident all of his life. He served his Country in the United States Army. James was a retired employee of IBM East Fishkill where he retired as a Manager. James was a member of the Poughkeepsie Elks BPOE 275 and the Moose Club of Hyde Park. James also was a avid METS Fan, loved to watch baseball, fish and loved to Ball Room Dance. in 1983 James ran the Bermuda International 5K. He is survived by his wife: Dorothea F. (Phillips) Berryann of Pleasant Valley, NY., his brother Wayne R. Berryann and his wife Linda of Mcleansville, NC., his nephew Wayne R. Berryann and his wife Amy of Mcleansville NC., and his niece Jaime Butler and her husband James of Wappingers NY. James was predeceased his son Stephen Richard Berryann.
