Obituary of Joseph J. Hoellman

Joseph J. Hoellman, age 66, of Wappingers, New York, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Joseph was born February 8, 1951 in Yonkers, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Madeline (Vickers) Hoellman. He married Mengyi Li on October 19, 2010 in China. Joseph was retired from Alitce Cable where he worked as a Supervisor. Joseph was a local resident since 1985 previously from Yonkers, New York. Joseph was a Graduate of SUNY Albany and Berkley's School of Music. Joseph loved to play the Piano, enjoyed Jazz Music, he was a member of the DC 6 Project Band and was a avid Yankees and JETS Fan. He is survived by his wife: Mengyi Li of Wappingers, son Kyle Hoellman and his girl friend Brittany Purdy of Poughkeepsie, NY, sister: Jane and her husband Michael Kahn of Manhattan, NY, brothers Robert and his wife Allison Hoellman of Lake Carmel, NY, John Jr. and his wife Lee Hoellman of Tennessee, stepson, Zihuan Liu of Michigan, sister in-law and brother In-law, Gail and Neil Kroener and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in Private.
