Obituary of Carol M. Reed

Carol M. Reed, age 78, of Lagrange, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at The Pines At Poughkeepsie. Carol was born August 6, 1938 in Rochester, NY. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Edna (Foley) Callahan. She married Luke C. Reed on April 1, 1956 at St. Stanislaus in Pleasant Valley.

Carol was a retired employee of the Arlington Central School District.

She is survived by her son, Luke Reed and his wife, Laura Reed of Raleigh, NC, daughter Patricia Tinker and her husband David Cary, NC., son Jeffery A. Reed and his wife Doris of Sanford, NC., six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Friday May 12, 2017 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am Saturday May 13, 2017 at St. Mary's Church Poughkeepsie New York 12601. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

The family asks that Memorial Donations in Carol's name be made to The Alzheimer's Association 2 Jefferson Street Suite 103, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601
