Hi, I am not sure if you recognize my name but I had Evan in my Resource Room classes during his Freshman and Sophomore years and had worked with both Alex and Evan in the Mr. Arlington shows. Both boys were a pleasure to work with and it was always great to see Evan everyday at school. I hope he is doing well in college. I did not work with Ryan but can only assume he would have been great to have in class as well. I had heard Ryan's name mentioned at church and wanted to reach out to you. I send my most sincere condolences to all of you. May time and wonderful memories of Ryan bring peace to your hearts.

Ryan was my student in 9th grade. I'm shocked and saddened by this news, I remember him as a kind, gentle, friendly young man who always had a smile. I would see him regularly in the hallways even in the years after he had left my class. I'm so sorry for the pain your family is going through right now. I pray that you will find strength and rest in God as your comfort in the days ahead.

Dear Doherty Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences from all of us in the Arlington lacrosse family. Ryan was always a player and worked hard on the field during games and in practice. Memories of his friendly out going manner and ready smile will be always be cherished. To his parents and his brothers, Evan and Alex, our deepest sympathies as we know how close you are. You have all been a dear part of our lacrosse program, and if it is any comfort, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Melanie, I was Ryan's neighbor in the same hallway with Mike and Lisa Ardito, I had the little dog Sprockett. This was at Palma Ceia Hyde Park apartments when Ryan was only 19, when he first came to Tampa. A lot has changed in his life over the years and regretfully, I didn't keep up until now but I was just so saddened by this horrific news and I remembered him and you so fondly, I had to reach out. I can't begin to understand or imagine your pain, it's unfair and unacceptable that any parent or anyone should have to go through this. Just know you are being thought of and cared for and Ryan was loved and will be missed greatly.
Love and hugs,
Jamie Morrell

To the family and friends of Ryan, my deepest sympathy. The Scriptures helps us to understand why we suffer at the hand of this enemy death (1 Corinthian 15 :26) (Romans 5 :12) but it also gives us hope, Revelation 21 :3,4 promises that God will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, but while we wait we are encouraged to throw your burden on him and he will sustain you. (Psalm 55:22)

My sincere condolences to Ryan's family. My heart is broken over the loss of this beautiful young man. He touched my heart from the time I met him as a young boy. He was always smiling, always polite, always lovable, always fun to talk to. Ryan had a special gift of showing great interest in others. He was very observant of other person's needs. To me he was an earth angel....now God has this beautiful angel to brighten up heaven. I Love you and I will miss you deeply....RIP beautiful boy!

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting, and ultimately, becoming friends with Ryan while working with him at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His smile could brighten any room and his laughter was infectious. He will be missed by so many. My husband and I used to invite him for dinner when I would overcook - which seemed to be a lot. He had a generous, kind spirit and my husband and Ryan would share many stories about life. I always felt like he was like a son to me as he always helped me at work. He knew that I could life and carry things like the guys could and was a gentleman to say the least. When he started dating Alexandra, he brought her over for us to meet and she was a delight. Ryan, you will always be missed. There will always be an empty spot at the dinner table for you. I'm sorry we lost touch and am proud that you did get to experience fatherhood - even if for only a short time. I hope he has your smile and laughter and sense of humor. You will forever be in our hearts. And to Ryan's family, we are so incredibly sorry for you loss. Please know, you will always be in our hearts, thoughts, & prayers and he always spoke highly of you all. He tried his best and was a pleasure to work with and was different with us. And I have to add he was very respectful to my husband and I - treating us with the utmost respect. Thank you for raising him to be a good man. No more pain.
