Obituary of Darron P. MacBrien

Darron P. MacBrien, 29, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 in South Carolina.  He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on October 17, 1988 and attended Poughkeepsie High School.  Darron had worked as a roofer and mason for Custom Home Design.  He was a member of the Blakley Volunteer Fire Department.  Darron loved the NY Jets and Mets and was an avid WWE Fan.  He loved being by the ocean and was good natured.  He is survived his mother Barbara (Burnett) Minckler of Hyde Park and was predeceased by his father Harris "Duke" E. Minckler, Sr.  Also surviving are his sons Liam Harris MacBrien of  Peckville, PA and Bentley G. MacBrien of Poughkeepsie, NY as well as his brothers; Harris E. Minckler, Jr. of Poughkeepsie, Floyd A. Minckler  of Port Orange, FL, Nicholas P. Fozo of Myrtle Beach, SC, his sisters; Lisa M. Minckler of Poughkeepsie, Michelle Bell (Shawn) of Hyde Park, Ashley M. Meyer of Walden, NY and Cassidy Wentling of Highland, NY.  Additionally, Darron is survived by his girlfriend Jodie Shomaker of Gallivants Ferry, SC, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his biological parents Darron P. Fozo and Donna M. Abolin.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 3-7pm at the Timothy P.
