Dear Ponch, you were a fine specimen of humanity, and your passing leaves a hole in our hearts and minds that can never be filled. You fought a good fight, but alas, God needed you more! You will forever be remembered as the dignified man you were. You treated all without exception with respect, courtesy and decency and gave freely of yourself. I am sure you will hear the words "well done, good and faithful servant" from the Lord. May he keep you safe in his bosom. You were one of a kind, and you will be truly missed by the entire New York State Veterans Home family. God Bless you again, and keep you!
