Obituary of Nancy Ann Angelo
Nancy Ann Angelo, 69, of Poughkeepsie NY, Began her new journey with her loving family by her side late Friday January 26, 2018. Born a on warm and sunny Hudson Valley Indian Summer day September 10, 1948 in Poughkeepsie NY. She was the daughter of late George John and Anna Mae Haight. Nancy was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School in 1967 and later ventured to work in downtown Manhattan for American Brands. She loved the city life and fashion. She married the love of her life Joseph S. Angelo on February 10, 1979 and had three children who she loved to no end and was overly proud of. She spent many years volunteering at Holy Trinity where her children attended school. Nancy worked for local businesses including Poughkeepsie Savings Bank, CRM and for Sodexo at Marist College. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Andrea Angelo and her partner Jim Veronesi. A stepdaughter Stacie Angelo and her partner Michael Kenny and their children Jack and Jinna. Nancy was excited and supportive of her two sons John J. Angelo and Christopher J. Angelo, co-owners of the family business, J.Angelo Industries. Christopher and Mariana Cordovano have a son Carmine who was Nancy’s grandson and shining star. Nancy spent much of her off time building her grandsons extensive Lego collection and spending time together riding his bike in every park they could find. Nancy loved to crochet and knit pieces for her loved ones. Nancy was the most loving mother and devoted wife anyone could ask for. Her love and compassion will be missed by many. Nancy is also survived by her loving and watchful brother, James and his wife Patricia Haight and their sons Ryan, Terrance, Daniel and wife Nicole Haight. Nancy has a sister in law Keely Angelo who she absolutely adored, along with her husband David Terwilliger. Also survived by her brother in law Albert and wife Sandra Angelo. Nancy’s sister cousin Bernadette and husband Robert O’Hare, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews especially Raymond L. Beesmer who was there for her every day. Nancy had some special lifelong girlfriends who she would share stories of often (Kathy- Nancy- Joyce). Calling hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday February 2, 2018 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie NY. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church Poughkeepsie
