Obituary of Jeanette Dziminowicz

Jeanette F. Dziminowicz, 89, passed away March 2, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born on July 12, 1928 in Easthampton, MA to the late Andrew and Mary (Misch) Krzywicki.  She married Alexander Dziminowicz on July 29, 1950 in Sacred Heart Church in Danbury, CT. 

Jeanette grew up in Danbury and graduated from Danbury High School – Class of 1946.  She worked as a bookkeeper before moving to Poughkeepsie.  She was an avid sewer and enjoyed crafting, knitting, crossword puzzles and gardening too.  She and Alexander loved to go out dancing.  They enjoyed trips to Florida, Arizona and California. 

She is survived by her husband Alexander of 67 years, daughter Janina Hart and husband Richard of Poughkeepsie, NY, sons Michael and his wife Estela of Lawndale, CA and David and his wife Beth of Boynton Beach, FL as well as her grandchildren: Sarah Hart of Milton, NY and Sean Hart of Poughkeepsie, NY; Andrew Dziminowicz and Amanda Dziminowicz of Boynton Beach, FL, Jaylord Rubia and Marie Lovella Deas of CA; niece Mary Jean Fereday of Danbury, CT as well as several cousins.  Jeanette was predeceased by her sister Helen and sister Mary.

The family would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor of Mid Hudson Regional Hospital for all their wonderful care during her stay. 

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury, CT.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
