Obituary of Tamam J. Nesheiwat

Tamam J. Nesheiwat 84 of the Town of Poughkeepsie died Thursday March 15, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Salt Jordan on October 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Aquil and the late Insara Dababneh Nesheiwat.

Tamam was a local resident since 1983 previously from Yonkers and Jordan.

She had a great love for her nine children and grandchildren.

in 1954 in Salt Jordan she married Jamil Nesheiwat, he predeceased her in June of 1980.

Tamam was survived by her nine children and their spouses, Marwan (Raghda) Nesheiwat of Lagrange, Majed (Hyatt) Nesheiwat of Lagrange, Dr. Amjad (Hifa) Nesheiwat of Hopewell Jct, Mazem (Mara) Nesheiwat of Lagrange, David (Anna) Nesheiwat of Hopewell Jct, Majeda (Issac) Shaban of Jordan, Suad (Bessam) Khoury of Yonkers, Manil (Samir) New Jersey, Maram (Aisar) Sahawneh of Poughkeepsie. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren and many great grandchildren,nieces, and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held Friday March 16, 2018 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm at the St James Antiochian Orthodox Church 441 Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday at St James Church with burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery Salt Point Turnpike Poughkeepsie, New York.
