Obituary of Arlene H. Taylor

Arlene H. Taylor 83 of Stormville, New York died Thursday March 22, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 6, 1934 she was the daughter of Arthur and Elsie Moore Blake.

On March 20, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY she married Robert K. Taylor, they just celebrated their 64 Wedding Anniversary.

Arlene was a 57 year local resident, she worked as a Manager/Cook for the Wappingers School District.

Arlene was a member of the Freedom Plains Presbyterian Church, the Scottish Society of Dutchess County and the Thistle Club.

Arlene is survived by her husband Robert K. Taylor of Stormville, daughter Melanie Cruger and her husband Michael of Tivoli, son Robert K. Taylor Jr. of Toccoa Georgia, grandchildren, Michael Cruger, Heather Cruger, Bethany Taylor, Jacon Taylor, Abigal Taylor and Samuel Taylor. Arlene is also survived by her sister Florence Gibiser of Florida and 9 great grandchildren.

Arlene was predeceased by her brother Arthur Blake.

There will be a Memorial Service for Arlene 10am Friday March 30, 2018 at the Freedom Plains Presbyterian Church Route 55 Lagrangeville, NY.
