Obituary of Yvette D. Rocco

Yvette D. Rocco, 51, of the town of LaGrange, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at home.  A local resident since 1990, and previously of the Bronx, she was born on February 25, 1967 in the Bronx to the late Stanley James Brumley, Jr. and Rose Anne Genevieve Kondoray.  Yvette received her AAS degree from Dutchess Community College.  On January 16, 2011 she married Anthony J. Rocco in Hyde Park, NY and he survives her at home.  Yvette was a member of the Reach Out for Christ Church in Hyde Park and she loved dogs, the outdoors, hiking and camping.  Her family was a big part of her life, husband, children and grandchildren.  She also liked watching crimes stories.  In addition to her husband, Anthony, Yvette is survived by her mother, Rose Ann G. Brumley of LaGrange and her children; Jessica Washburn of Poughkeepsie, Ronald Washburn, III of Stratford, CT, Dezmond Cox, of LaGrange, Dakota Cox of LaGrange, Brieanna Cox of Norwalk, CT, Ryan Cox of New City, Anthony Rocco, Jr., of Poughkeepsie and Ana Rocco of Poughkeepsie.  In addition, Yvette is survived by her grandchildren Yaseen Ahmed and Giovianni Washburn, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Timothy P.
