Obituary of Dorothy H. Lynch

Dorothy H. Lynch, 97, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Baptist Home in Rhinebeck, NY.  Dorothy was born on January 5, 1921 in Newburgh, NY and was the daughter of the late Carlton and the late Mary Ellen (Sutton) Hall.  She married Charles A. Lynch and she was predeceased by him on March 15, 2001.  Dorothy had worked in the Newburgh School District as a secretary.  She loved playing Bridge, was an avid reader and knitter and liked to play games on her computer.  She is survived by her son Charles F. and Barbara  Lynch of Poughkeepsie and two grandchildren, Charles S. Lynch of Poughkeepsie and Kathryn Lynch of Worcester, MA., and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was predeceased by her sister Nelli VanScoy.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 3, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm at the Timothy P.
