Obituary of Joseph Anthony Otello

Joseph Anthony Otello, 84, peacefully passed away on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at The Eleanor in Hyde Park, NY surrounded by family.  Joseph was born July 19, 1933 in Harlem, NY to the late Anthony Otello and Rose Rinaldi Otello.   He was predeceased by brother Frank Otello.

Joseph is survived by his wife Sylvia Otello, brother Louie Otello, daughter Toni Otello, daughter Cathy and John Pezzo, son Joseph and Nalini Otello, daughter Natasha and Jason Cranston.  He also had grandchildren who brought him so much joy and happiness, Joseph Pezzo, Rose Pezzo, Jasmine Cranston, Patrice Cranston, and Claborn Cranston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe will be missed dearly by all. His loyalty and generosity extends beyond his family and friends. Joseph's family would like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to all the staff at The Eleanor on the second floor for the past few years, for all the love that you gave to him and his family, it never went unnoticed. Also a very warm thank you to the Hospice staff who brought so much comfort to all of us, ensuring Joseph's comfort in his final days.
