Obituary of Lewis J. Rosenberg

Lewis Jay Rosenberg, age 87, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.  Born on August 11, 1931 in New York City, he was the son of the late Jacob and Lillian Rosenberg.  In addition to his parents, Lewis was predeceased by his brother Ronald Rosenberg.  Lewis served in the US Army and attended RCA Institute.  He was employed by IBM in Poughkeepsie for 35 years, retiring in 1991.  Lewis enjoyed mechanical troubleshooting, woodworking, and taking cross country road trips.  He is survived by Cecile Rosenberg and their three sons; Jack Rosenberg of Poughkeepsie, NY; Stephen Rosenberg of Marlboro, NY; Marc Rosenberg of Boston, MA; and grandson Benjamin Rosenberg of Marlboro, NY.  Lewis was also survived by his life partner of 35 years, Patricia Turnbull of Poughkeepsie, NY who subsequently passed away one week later on January 23, 2019. May they both Rest In Peace. They will be missed.
