Dear Ralph, Diane and Family: Doris and I go back many, many years. We worked together on the night shift at IBM South Road. We were only a year apart and became the best of friends. She always told me the reason I taught her "the best kind of English" was because I was older and knew all the" right words". Many times we would go for a few drinks or coffee after we got off the job at 2am just to unwind. One of my daughters accompanied her and Diane to Europe on a wonderful holiday. When I moved north to StanfordvilleI I lost contact with her and due to the distance visited only one in a while. Although we spoke a few times by phone it was not the same as being together. What I will never forget was her vitality, honesty and love. To this day, the times and years we spent together still bring wonderful memories to mind. I never found another friend like her. I will always keep her in my prayers and my heart.

Ralph, Diane, Lori, Marci, and family, We are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed seeing and talking with Dottie at family gatherings. Art and I have been blessed to have known Dottie for as long as we did. Of course, we met her and Ralph at River Bend and enjoyed our visits. In hindsight, Some of them were much too short; isn’t that always the way. Dottie, we will pray for you and ask God to hold you in his arms as you enjoy the peace and serenity of the angels. No more sickness and no more pain - only peace and tranquility. Watch over all of us Dottie - we will miss you so very much and remember you always. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest In Eternal Peace. Amen.
