I haven't seen or talked to Stan in years. But sometimes a personality will stick in one's mind forever. Being from Michigan, and working in the same group with him at the IBM Boardman Road Lab, in the mid-1960's, I recall Stan's retort to a challenge in a small group discussion of "Is there really a God?". Stan: "I believe there is a God, I believe in God. You may think I'm foolish; but, if I'm wrong how can that hurt me? But, if you're wrong......". God's Blessings Mr, Dobrzynski!

I WAS SADDENED TO HEAR OF STAN'S DEATH. I DID NOT KNOW HIM NOR HIS IMMEDIATE FAMILY BUT I FELT I KNEW HIM THROUGH MY CLOSE FRIENDSHIP WITH RICH AND MARY AND GENE AND CHRIS. THE BOYS ALWAYS SPOKE SO HIGHLY OF THEIR BROTHER AND FELT INDEBTED TO HIM BECAUSE HIS ROLE AS A SURROGATE FATHER AND ADVISOR. IN READING THE OBITUARY HE CERTAINLY WAS A VERY ACCOMPLISHED PERSON AND GOOD FAMILY MAN HE WILL BE MISSED NICK
