Chris was one of a kind. She was a friend, boss, confidant, advocate. She was our one last thread connecting us to the Heart Center. There is a definite hole in the Heart Center family. She will be missed beyond belief! She hired me as an intern even though that was not the policy at the time and now 13 years later I am still here! I am extremely sorry for your loss and even though we all feel the loss, the loss is 100 fold worse for all of you and your hole is much greater. I believe that someday we will see her again and hear her classic words to all of us "I Love It!"

It has been a joy to have Chris as a sister-in-law and dear friend for more than 45 years.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I lived next door to the VanVlacks on Crestwood Blvd. They were a lovely family. Chrissy was always fun to be around and had a quick smile for everyone.
