Edward Fitzmaurice was an emblematic member of a generation whose humility, work ethic, sense of duty to family and community gave energy to America's great post war recovery. Ed was for many years a familiar, conscientious, and respected part of Collegeview. We value his service and honor his memory. "Rob" will be greatly missed. The Fitzmaurice house was my home away from home growing up. Many laughs and good times were had. He and Agnes treated my children like their own grandchildren. We will be forever grateful for that. Such a huge loss. My heartfelt condolences to all, especially Theresa, Ed, Denise, Jimmy and Janine.

Dear Fitzmaurice Family Even thought I worked in Town of Poughkeepsie with Ed for 11 years, 26 years later when I saw his name in the Obituary, it was like yesterday remembering the happy memory of Ed. He had that commanding attitude everyone respect, a kind word of concern and his positive attitude I could never forget.
