Obituary of Vera C. Porath

Vera Colantuono Porath, 90, widow of Harold A. Porath Jr. (2013),  passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2019.  She is survived by her children, Susan Porath Keefer (Craig), Steven H. Porath (Sheila) and Linda Porath; her grandchildren, Daniel Keefer (Norrell), Abigail Keefer Rudolph (Brian), Carly Porath, Alexander Keefer , Rebecca Porath and Benjamin Porath; her great –grandchildren, Carsen Rudolph and Dalton Keefer and many other beloved family members and friends.  Born in Walden, NY, she was a long term resident of New Windsor, NY and spent her last years in Poughkeepsie, NY.  She worked for the City of Newburgh as Executive Assistant to the City Manager for a number of years and was a valued member of the executive team.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Doyle Funeral Home from  10:00 am- noon,  Saturday, July 13.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hudson Valley Hospice, 374 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
