My sincere condolences to the Adams family on your loss. I used to wait on Mrs. Adams while working in the Poughkeepsie deli , not knowing who she was at first but she always had a smile and a kind word to say. She was the first family member that I had met and I’m glad I had the chance to help who seemed to be such a strong, loving and compassionate person!

Dear Don and Family. I am so sorry to hear about Dale's passing. She was a good friend, growing up in the same neighborhood. We were always competing with each other especially with grades and she was very smart, so it wasn't easy keeping up with her. Another thing we did was put on little plays for the neighborhood and of course we charged a small fee. Always a fun time. We went to movies, ice skated, roller skated, bicycled, played ball and other games with the kids on our street. Fond memories. Don I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one. As you probably remember I lost my first husband John, your friend, and just recently my second husband Richard. It's wonderful that you have five children and many grandchildren to comfort you, as I have also. It helps tremendously. God be with you. Maria McNiff Kirkland.
