Obituary of Nicolas A. Visbeck

Nicholas A. Visbeck, 61, of Pleasant Valley, NY, passed away on Tuesday August 6, at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.

Formerly of Poughkeespie, NY, he was born on February 21, 1958 to Nicholas and Elvira Visbeck. He Graduated from Spackenkill High School and University of Albany. He dedicated over 30 years of his life to working for IBM in many different capacities, including as a project manager. He married Rosemarie Corbett of Highland, on July 6, 1985. They spent many happy years in the Hudson Valley and traveled all over the world together.

Nick was a man who embraced life to the fullest and had many hobbies. He loved to hunt, fish, cook, play cards, and work with his hands. He was a member of many clubs including The Elks, VFW, American Legion and Mid County Rod and Gun Club.

He leaves behind his father Nicholas, his brother Anthony, his wife Rosemarie, two children, Nicole of Georgia, and Nicholas Jr. of Kingston, and two grandchildren Christopher and Saddie. He is predeceased by his mother Elvira and brother Robert.

A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor on Saturday August 10, 2019 at Our Lady of The Rosary Chapel at 11 am. A Memorial Luncheon will follow at the Mid County Rod and Gun Club in Lagrangeville.
