I walk around with a heavy heart, I lost my best friend of over 40 years. You were my Person. We were so different in many ways, we’d laugh about it and make fun of each other with honesty, that others would never think of telling a person without offending them. That’s the friendship we were gifted. We knew each other’s deepest thoughts, secrets and never were afraid of
Judging. We were many miles away at times from each other and didn’t speak for a period of time, than when a dark cloud came around the phone rang. Hi Lau or hi Annette. The cloud would disappear.
I believe you don’t have to be a sister of the same DNA. We meet as colleagues and realized we had something special and boom!!
We shared the same understanding and reason how life could sometimes be unfair but when you share the same beliefs and morals it’s A friendship in the making.
We were on call for each other, day or night it didn’t matter. We were sister’s of the heart and soul. We cried and laughed together. When together we didn’t have to go out and party, we’d hang out in our comfy‘s scum out for the weekend and had a great time.
You my Laura were my sister I never had. A friend I never had. You were a gift I will always hold in my broken heart and etched in my memory. I miss you and love you. Please watch over all of us from above.

Lala,
You were always there for me. You were someone I was always able to rely on, no matter what. You always gave everyone the benifit of the doubt and would give the shirt off your back if someone needed it.
I loved sharing our birthday growing up, and then when I was older flying down to Florida to spend our birthday’s together again. There was never a dull moment between us, between “I’m not touching you” and our weekly Survivor phone calls where we would discuss play by play what was going happening.
You were always there for me and I will be forever grateful. You taught me how to be a compassions person, and how to give people the benefit of the doubt. You made me a better person and I am who I am today because of you and all of your support.
You can rest easy now, you gave all of us all of the tools we need to succeed.
I love you more. ❤️

My memories of Laura are laughter and love. She was a truly warm and caring person who accepted me into the family from our first meeting. She will be missed but thought of often with a smile. God bless the family at this difficult time as they all are wonderful people.

My condolences to my niece Kim and the Gaylord family.
I’ll always appreciate the love and support she gave to my brother Armand and his children while he was sick and then when he passed. She always remained part of our family.

Laura … my sister, my friend, my confidant …
You were always up-beat and forgiving even in the face of adversity …
You would always come to the aid of your siblings no matter …
I remember when you came to my aid right after I had an appendectomy and was being picked on at the bus stop … hahaha … you were hell on wheels …
You did it many times with other siblings when they were despondent and you would talk them back …
Too bad you never got credit for all you have done for each and every one of us … but your reward was the feeling you got and the love you shared from those that were greatful.
Whenever there was a problem, you would call me … we would talk and I would make you laugh … then we would put our heads together and come up with a solution …
I wish we could have done it this last time …
You always saw the good in everyone … even when there was little to see …
You were always there for all of us … your whole biological and extended family …
You will be greatly missed … especially by me …
I love you sis … and as you say:

My condolences to my family. Laura will be missed by all that knew her. She was a very special “Sister” to me. I loved her from the moment I met her. RIP Laura and give Nanny and Poppy a hug for me.
