I met Dan as a former member of the City Park Rod and Gun Club and before that growing up in New Rochelle. Doc was always above the cliche’s and only wanted what was best for the club. He was the best! He got me to do a lot of projects including cable car rebuild, road rebuild, obtains the orange tractor and a lot of materials... he always had the best of the club in his motives.. a true and honorable man the family should be proud of.. Rest In Peace my friend. Richard Benkwitt
